Death's second album is very similiar to the first yet much more
mature. The comparison between these albums seems to define perfect
progression, and something most fans would crave for. A proper
line up has also been established this time around, with Chuck
recruting old mate Rick Rozz for the other guitar spot. Basically,
this time around the songs are no less intense or heavy, but much
more memorable and well constructed. Tighter musicianship and
production this time as well, plus there's more leads, and these
tend to be classic. Lyrically, its still dark and morbid, but
improved since Chuck doesn't seem to be as vulgar. Songwise there
isn't a lot of variation, or much worth commenting on the title
track and "Choke On it" are probably my favorites, they're
all of about equal quality though, and there are some killer leads
(like in "Born Dead").
